This course is designed to develop the language ability of foreign students who want to pursue further studies in the English medium of instruction. They will be taught the following language skills: writing, reading, listening and speaking. This course consists of three levels: elementary, intermediate and advanced intermediate. In elementary level, students will earn to improve their listening skills and expand their vocabulary content to form simple sentences. They will appreciate the use of different grammatical structures to convey meaning using different timeline. In intermediate level, they will be taught to link multiple information into a sentence using appropriate terms to convey their meaning. They will also be taught idioms and phrasal verbs to improve language especially in descriptive speech. Students in the advanced intermediate level of English can produce both written and oral works confidently. Being spontaneous in speech and confident in written context, they are required to analyze data and comment on their findings. They also have the option to take the IELTS exam to progress to higher learning.
